Features

What you can do in the app today

TotalGovt is built to cover elected and non-elected government at the state, county, and city level. Here is what is in the app now.

  • Find your districts by address

Enter the address where you are registered to vote. TotalGovt matches it to your county, town, and districts, then shows what is yours.

  • Your officials and candidates

Profiles use the same sections for everyone, with a career timeline and a link to the public source for each item.

  • How officials voted

See recorded votes and roll calls with a plain line about what a Yes meant. Compare the candidates in a race side by side.

  • Voting info near you

Your precinct, Election Day polling place, early voting sites and dates, and what to bring. Your street address stays on your phone.

  • Local meetings

County commission, school board, and town council meetings in your area. We add more every month.

  • Local issues explained

Plain, sourced explainers on debated local questions, with the main positions, a dated timeline, and how officials voted.

  • Ballot builder

Mark your picks and take the list to the polls. Your picks are saved only on your phone.

  • Election night results

Follow results as they come in. They are labeled unofficial until they are certified.

  • Alerts you control

Follow people and star races, candidates, and issues. Turn on optional alerts for your county and districts, with quiet hours.
